EVERYBODY HATES A SALESMAN

It was a beautiful Saturday morning and my partner Mark walked in to Sears department store. He had one goal on his mind to purchase a last minute gift for his wife ( I know typical male), shame on him.

He pretty much knew what he was going in for so he had one thing on his mind, get in and get out. Mark just wanted to get on with the rest of his day of playing golf with the fellas. Immediately as he walked into the store, a young lady approached "Hello sir, may I help you find something." Mark responded promptly; "No, thanks".

Half way threw the store an older man in his late 40's dressed in a suit said to Mark, "Hello sir, may I help you find something." Again Mark responded; "No, thanks" only this time he thought to himself...I Hate sales people.

See folks Mark was trying so hard not to be sold he pushed away the very people who could help him.

After about another minute of walking around the store Mark suddenly thought to himself..."I need some help."

So Mark went to ask someone for help and was out the store in the next 10 minutes.

My point is this...Everyone Hates A Salesman even salesman. Guess what my friend Mark he's a salesman himself!

By the way if you want to know the 7 ways to stop selling and start attracting people to your business visit http://yourbusinessnetwork.biz/ . You'll find that its jammed packed with information you can use today.

Back to my story...

As a society we don't want to be sold anything. It's a fact we buy what we want not what we need. Example, one of my lady friends, a single mother of 3 kids often times struggles to pay her bills.

But when payday comes she runs to the mall and shop for things thats she wants for her and her kids like Jordans, Gucci bags, and Ipods. Did you catch that (things that she wants, not needs). The need would be things like groceries, utilities, and mortgage payments. This brings me to a point of marketing, when marketing anything it is far easier to market to people who want what you have.
